The English name passion fruit doesn't really mean fruit of passion, but many a gourmet has developed deep feelings for maracuja. And no wonder. Although it is not a beauty at first sight, its taste is irresistibly sinful and totally disarming.  

The taste of maracuja combines citrus, mango and apricot. It is very intense, so even a small spoonful will perfume your dessert, ice cream or drink and give them a delicate tropical touch. The crunchy seeds also turn every bite into a little firework.

Ingredients: 41% canned passion fruit (50% passion fruit, sugar), fructose, water, sugar, acidity regulator
              citric acid, thickening agents carboxymethyl cellulose and carrageenan, flavouring

Preparation: measure 1 tbsp (~35 g) into a 250 ml glass, pour in cold or warm water and stir.
